How to use Hum Aawaz's Basic Features

Click on “Join Now” and you will get an option to join us as a partner or as a volunteer. Choose your desired option and then fill out the Sign Up form with the required details. Your membership application will be shared with the Hum Aawaz Steering Committee for vetting. Upon the approval of your membership we will create your account on the website and notify you via e-mail, which will also contain your login credentials, so you can access and start building your profile for networking.

Login in to the website using your password and start filling out your profile. To add information that you want to share, click the “Edit” buttons underneath each section of your profile. Make sure you fill in all the sections of your profile with correct and relevant information. The more complete your profile is, the more opportunities will come your way.

Hum Aawaz allows you to create events that you can then share with the public or share privately with other members. To create an event, click the Events link in the top menu and select “Create Event”. Set a title for your event. Set a date for your event, you can use the calendar button to open a calendar and choose a date. You can also specify a start and end time. Add further details about your event and you are ready to invite people.

You can create job opportunities by clicking on the “Add Opportunity” button under the Opportunities link in the top menu. Set a job title, no. of vacancies open and your job ad is ready.

Click on the Discussion link in the top menu to open the forum. On the forum page you will see the latest posts (at the right side of the page). Click on the last post for e.g. Feedback on 15th April meeting; in order to reply to the post, click on ‘Post Reply” button and share your opinions.
